Potty Training Help - Home vs. Daycare
Was hoping some of you ladies could offer some help/advice on this situation. DD turned 2 in May and showed signs of interest in potty training recently. We did a totally no pressure, easy, chill approach and she took to quickly. In about 4 days she was 100% day time trained (even stayed dry throughout her afternoon nap) but still wears a pull up at night. She will go at home, at my parents house, and out in public with either myself or DH. Here's the problem: she is refusing to go at daycare -- doesn't even want to sit on the potty, starts to scream when the teachers suggest she try, etc. She holds it for an extended period of time (5-6 hours) and will eventually end up having an accident.
Has anyone gone through this? I feel like it will literally just take her going at daycare one time to get over this hurdle, just not sure how to get her there. The teachers suggested bringing in her potty seat (the insert that goes on top of the adult toilet) to school in hopes this will help with familiarity. Thanks!

I don't have experience because my ds was the opposite. Would go at daycare but not at home.
Can you have her go with you at drop off. Maybe with you there is will work.

I'd agree with the potty seat. If you have a ring at home, bring the same one to school.
Also, you can try taking her when you drop her off to see if you can get her to go once. Otherwise, just don't force it. Forcing it will make it worse. She's young...she'll get there!

I had a similar situation at the same age. DS wouldn't use his school's toilet. Kept having accidents. I asked if I could bring in his potty and once I did that we no longer had any issues.
