Re: Potty training girls- poll

DD was 28 mths when she got trained...only advice is just make sure you think she is ready - showing some interest in it and honestly just do it full force...once i put her in underwear that was it, no overnight diapers, nothing..within 3 days she was fully trained and even the 1st night woke up dry the next day..there were some accidents but very minor..hth

ps - i made it a game for her too - everytime we put on underwear I'd say "we are going to play a game - lets keep elmo(or whoever she had on them) clean and dry"..she would remind me throughout the day that it was still clean and dry with a smile on her own.

DD is not trained yet.... she will turn 4 this weekend.....

We've done all the tricks and techniques that everyone says to do. She just doesn't want to. I don't think there's a method we haven't tried. She definitely knows how to go, because once in a while she forgets she's on strike, and actually says she has to go, and has plenty of time to walk there herself, pull her pull-ups down, sit and go. She just doesn't want to do it consistently.

DD is 25 months and not trained yet. She understands what it is about but has no interest. Now that a lot of her little friends are starting to potty train, she seems a bit more interested.

DD was 100% trained right after her 3rd birthday.

2 years, 10 months. She was stubborn as all hell, she was ready sooner and took her time. But looking back now, it doesn't really matter when.

Oh no! That's my nightmare. I'm already in potty training hell and my DD just turned 3 10 days ago!

DD#1 was trained 100% by 2 years 9 mos. DD#2...well, let's just say it's a battle. Meanwhile, she's GOT to be trained for nursery school in September and for dance.
