Potty training

Ok so my son is going to be 3 in feb. He uses the potty here and there. I noticed he always goes poop after dinner so today after dinner I told him to go sit on the potty and he pooped! So I asked him if he wants to wear underwear and he did. He peed a little in the underwear but then finished in the potty. I let him go bottomless and he was playing and then said "oh more pee is coming out!" And went pee in the potty himself.

Should I keep him in underwear? What would you do at night?
I have errands to run tomorrow what should I do?

I'm not ready or prepared for this lol I feel so clueless.

Re: Potty training

Pull up or diaper at night or if you'll be somewhere that getting to a bathroom is inconvenient.
Otherwise if you're home, I'd keep him in underwear as much as possible for practice and just keep bringing him to the potty regularly until he's really used to it.
We also keep a travel potty in the trunk of the car for when we go out... sometimes we need to pull over so he can use it if he can't wait.. very convenient!!!
Good luck!!

Seems as though he's totally ready to be diaper free.

What I did was put a pull up over underwear if we were going out the first few days. That way if she did have an accident, she could feel it, but it wouldn't be all over her carseat or the floor in a random store ;) It got messy a few times, but I just tossed the underwear if it was bad, lol, worth it to me to get her out of diapers. I did Pull Ups at night though.
