Potty question

What did you use when your child was ready to start potty training? I wasn't planning on starting to potty train DS but he's been asking to sit on the toilet. He's so tiny that I have to hold him there or he'll fall in so we definitely need something else. I'm torn between a potty that sits on the floor of the bathroom, a seat that sits on our toilet or a seat for him that is on a hinge with our own toilet seat. What did you use? Any pros and cons of these options? Thanks!

Potty question

I havent potty trained yet but am going to try again with my dd.

I personally think its a combo of what you think will work for your child and what will be best for them.
Some kids can be intimidated by a regular toilet. They need a step stool plus their own seat. Some kids arent intimidated by that...
Some kids like the idea of their own toilet and its their size.

i bought my dd the elmo ones and she loves it. Shes been sitting on it telling me shes going to go potty. It even has the handle to "flush" and makes the flush noise and an elmo giggle. Lol

Again im going to try with dd so someone with experience might have better advice.

Plus ive seen people take the lil toilet with them in their trucks to use when their out lol

Potty question

We had both a ring seat for the big potty and his own potty on the floor. He picked and used the ring seat on the toilet. I was happy because I didn't have to clean the little potty out. We ended up getting the next step seat so it's all in one on the toilet.
