Potty for on the go
So far, DS has NOT pooped outside of the house. He has told me he's had to go and I've brought him to the bathroom, but I guess the toilets are too big and he gets scared.
So, since we have 2 cars and the OCD people that we are, we figured each car should have a potty.
First I bought this:
But then we found this:
The potette looks like the smarter buy. Now I'm second guessing myself ( like I always do) and think I should get a second one for the other car.
What do you use when you are on the go? DS is on the small side so I do foresee us using a seat topper for a while.
Also, do you bring this in to every store you go to?

Re: Potty for on the go
i use a travel potty but only usually use it in my car. It uses ziplock bags.
If we are in the store i just have her use the dispsobale liners that i buy.
I do know they have a seat cover that folds up

Re: Potty for on the go
We have a pottete potty in each car and I carry a fold up seat in my bag for public restrooms, I prefer that to ling the seats so I don't have to hold them on the potty they can sit themselves without falling in!

Re: Potty for on the go
Loooooove that Potette potty. I can't tell you how many times we've needed to use it on the road. I just pop it open in the back of the truck and my DD can use it wherever. She's almost 5 and we still keep it in the car for emergencies. Best $12 I ever spent.
ETA - I use to carry it with me into stores for a little while after she trained until she got use to the public toilets.

Thanks for the replies. The potette has a weight limit of almost 100 pounds! I guess I will get another one of these and give the other seat topper to my mom.

I also love the Potette. We use it in the car, on the boat & snap out the legs & use it on the regular toilet bowl when we travel to my in-laws. I have one of those foldable ones, but I don't know where it is...DS doesn't need to go too often in the stores & when he does, I'll just hold him.
