pot pie stew "spinoff"
i just saw the recipe and i think i will borrow it to use up leftover turkey
my question is about the "side"
i LOVE a buttery, flakey crust on any kind of pie, especially a pot pie. what can i make that will be an equivalent?
do i through pie crust in the oven and bake alone? biscuits?
what is the bestest replica of the pot pie crust that i can serve with the pot pie stew?

I have done either flaky biscuits or honey cornbread.
I would say the biscuits are closest to an authentic potpie and what I am having tonight.

I usually just top with a roll our refrigerated pie crust and bake for a few mon. I've also just baked a crust and crumbled on top of each bowl of pot pie filling.
