post your makeup bag!!
and how many do you have? i have this huge kaboodle ( ) from 1985 that holds my non everyday makeup. then i had a clear bag with most of my makeup, everyday and extra shadows. but that would take me forever to find a tiny freaken eyebrow pencil! now i have a small bag for just my everyday makeup. but id like a bag thats not huge, but holds most of my stuff with compartments for brushes and pencils!

I wouldn't be able to put all of my makeup in one bag (garbage bag maybe lol)
I use my chanel makeup bag for travel and I have funky cheapie one that I use and a coach one..

This post makes me want my caboodle back
That was by far one of the defining moments of my life - getting my first caboodle when I was finally allowed to wear makeup!
Ok, to answer the question, I keep my makeup in a decorative divided dish thing from TJ Maxx on my dresser. I use free makeup bags from Clinique mostly but received a nice Kate Spade one for Xmas so now that is my bag for travel. I don't really carry makeup around with me other than lip gloss and some powder.

I keep all my makeup in the drawer of my night stand but if i travel or have to bring my makeup with me I use the louis vuitton toiletry pouch 26

I recently got this roll bag and I love it! I store in in my cabinet and then every time I do my makeup I unroll it and everything is easy to see and grab.

I also have a roll bag for everyday items plus two train cases tucked away and two cosmetics bags-- nothing fancy-- maybe from Century 21?
One cool thing I have started to do is put all of my samples into their own bag. I love it! I actually use the samples and try out new products often.

I use the little bags that you get as a gift when purchasing fragrances  So I have like 10 makeup bags in a drawer because they are so small.

my everyday stuff is in here:
i keep it in the linen closet and take it out when i need it.
all of my overflow is in multiple mu bags in a drawer.
i always keep a mascara, eyeliner and lipgloss in my bag (use a prada mu bag)

I have them in the latest Clinique makeup bag. I buy a lot of Clinique, get a free gift bag with makeup and ta-da! Old current bag gets tossed in the garbage. I store my makeup at home in a nice basket lined with fabric.
