Here is a picture of our deck...
You kind of need to put both pictures together to get a feel for the size. Our deck is L-shaped along the entire back of the house.

our deck is L-shaped too. It goes across half of the back of the house, then all the way down one side. It is old, we just re-stained it & my DH built new railing.
