Re: post your baby preparation actions....

The new baby will be using lots of DD's furniture. DD is now in the converted crib/toddler bed. We still have to get her a twin bed and then have the crib refinished (she really did a # on it between teething and special shoes that she used to wear to bed). We also have to put a wall and door up on the new baby's room. We had previously converted it to a dining room and now it has to be changed back to a bedroom. So needless to say, we still have to paint (after the new wall is erected). Other than that, we need to make a few purchases, ie., sit & stand double stroller, BPA-free bottles, snuggle nest co-sleeper for in our bed, etc.

I am 23 weeks so we are really going to kick it into high gear. With my last pregnancy, I was on bed rest from 32 weeks so I am nervous that I may be faced with that circumstance again.

Re: post your baby preparation actions....

27 Weeks!!
Ordered baby furniture
Found a pediatrician
Called about adding baby to our medical insurance
Finished Registry
Registered for a Baby Basics Class
Got the Paper work ready for Maternity leave from work.
Looked into Cord Blood Banking

I have so many more things left to do!! I need to organize my apartment, and make room for the baby. I also can't truly get ready until after my shower. The baby doesn't have a separate Nursery, so I don't have to get that ready.

we planned on keeping babies in our room until we moved but we have a wasted computer room that is perfect for a crib(we have 2 but can only fit one for now) and changing table...we decided to add hardwood floors and paint also so we relaly just got moving on it....kinda kicked us into gear....now ROb's so excited!

Re: post your baby preparation actions....

34 weeks

Started packing hospital back last week.

Nursery is painted, letters are put up, crib is put together.

I proggrammed the hospital into the GPS yesterday.

Today I will wash bedding and a few outfits to bring to hospital.

Today I would like to put bassinet together.

Today I plan to go to BRU and pick up a few more items.

That's it so far. On my upcoing weeks plan is to have a hospital tour.

XOXOXO
BOTB

Set up snow plow service - I'm due the beginning of February and we live HIGH on a hill with a very steep driveway! They have agreed to put us as top priority and do our house first!

Going crib shopping this weekend - but crib won't be delivered until the baby is born

Set up our email and text message distribution lists for when baby comes.

the snow pplow was a great idea...and thank you ..i can get a text and email list ready for Rob to send out to when the little boys come!....we live in a gated community and i already asked if i called at the end of march in a snow blizzard how fast maintenance would come shovel and she said they have a man having a heart attack once and the ambulance got stuck in driveway(we live out east so alot of snow also) and the maintenance guys had them out in 5 min....perfect..of course while in labor i will be screaming "can't they get done faster??"LOL
