Post partum hormones vs depression
When my first dc was 1 1/2 I started going to therapy for post partum issues I was having.
Now I am only 2 weeks after having ds and all day long I have been crying for no reason or crying over being alone all day, not sleeping, friends not calling or caring etc.
How can I tell if this is early signs of post partum depression or just normal emotions/reaction to childbirth?

First off...many hugs! I think it's hard to know, but I know from my experience after my 2nd was born, my PPD started about 3 weeks PP. I was in denial about it though and it went untreated for months. I think if you experienced PPD previously, you should speak to your OB, or even the therapist you were working with after your first dc. Pelease don't wait, even if it is hormones/baby blues, please be proactive and speak to someone. ::huggy
