Post Office Question- Has this ever happend to anyone
DH bought something on ebay
the guy gave a tracking number - and we never got it
but we tracked it- it says it was delivered on the 29th at 7:22am
which is impossible b/c I would have tripped over as I ran for the bus at 7:35am and I know they don't deliver that early
I really don't know what to do- I am going to call the post office in the morning and see if they have any more info-

I would double check the address they delivered it to. We have been receiving packages for the people who live up the block.

I had ordered something off of new egg and kept checking the tracking number. It was 'delivered' to the house but it never came to ours. We had to call UPS and they had to track down the driver. the UPS driver winded up delivering to the wrong house.
And sorry I noticed that it was post office you were asking of. I am sure they will be able to help you. Especially if it was insured mail.

That happened to me once - I sent something to a friend in CA and the delivery confirmation shows the package as delivered but she never received it. I presumed it was delivered to the wrong address.

being delivered to the wrong house would make sense
maybe I am better off going in there tomorrow after work
they all know me- and might be more helpful if I am standing there
it doesn't show on line what address it came too
I am ready to just start a paypal dispute- of course this is one item that DH paid for out of our bank account instead of Amex! (actually the second item - and we had an issue with that one also)

it happened to me numerous times with fedex not Ebay--I am assuming that its fedex with a tracking#.
Both times they delivered to a elementary school-3000.00 worth of baby formula and a ps3!
call fedex immed Mond morning.
Chances are its the same guy and its the same route and he remembers..

I had a gift sent to me USPS & it was marked as delivered but it wasn't & I never found out what happened to it. All the PO could tell me was that it was delivered, but I was home then & it wasn't.

I have a feeling this is what is going to happen
I hope paypal will give me a refund
the seller seems indifferent- I woud be freaking out if one of my customers said they didn't get a package
