Post office.. anyone ever have a issue with not getting packages?

My post office is typically awesome. I always get everything right on time and they are just really nice and curteous people etc.

anyway, in the past two/three weeks I am "missing" two packages that were shipped through bulk mail.

One I have a tracking number for and they company (personal creations) said they need to give the post office 30 days from the ship date before they will replace it. On the website it says 'info not available' with the tracking number)

The other package was shipped on Nov 20th. Normally I get it within 2 or 3 days later and I know Thanksgiving was this week but I am freaking out a little because this package was checks.

Should I call my local PO and inquire???

I would. I always worry about stuff like that too. We live in Amity Harbor, which has the same zipcode as Amityville. There is a street with our same name and house # in North Amityville and the mail has gotten mixed up numerous times with their address.

I think they know us now, but when we first moved in, we had issues...........even with utilities.

I'd give it a say or 2, it might have been delivered to the wrong house. On Saturday we got someone's ebay item, but got home after the post office closed so I can't bring it back to them until they open tomorrow morning.

It's the same house number and a street that starts with the same first letter as ours.

But our mailman sux, at least once a week we get other people's mail. Last week I got something for the Catholic elementary school the next town over!
