Do you ever contact a company after an interview and how long after?
I had an interview this week and was told that they would check my references and get back to me.
I sent a thank you email that evening.
Do I do anything after this?

If you haven't heard after about 2 weeks I think it would be OK to follow up - with an email or phone call.
