Post House Co-Ops in Westbury
Hi ladies,
My MIL is looking for a co-op to be near us when we move to N. Bellmore. We've seen a number of listings for co-ops in the Post House development in Westbury that fit her needs. I was wondering if anyone has any insight about the development or the area. Any and all comments are welcome.

From what I can see on google map the development appears to be just south of the Northern Parkway.

they are a block away from the Northern State. I wouldn't say they are bad, but the fees are high. My mom's for a 2 bedroom was almost $1,000, which includes your taxes and the co-op fees. It is a mixed area, but people are nice for the most part. If there are other questions you have, please let me know and I will write back to you. Oh yeah, when it snows the parking lot really sux. You only get one stop that comes with the co-op and there is NO parking for visitors at all. You have to park on Post Ave or the back streets.

Thank you, thank you thank you! My mother in law doesn't drive so it's important that she can get around to stores, church, etc. on foot or by public transportation. Parking is obviously not an issue.
