Re: Positive ANA
I am not sure - you will probably have to go to a specialist for a diagnosis or to see if any diagnosis apply to you. I do have an autoimmune disease.

Re: Positive ANA
I tested positive for ANA, APA, and elevated thyroid antibodies.
I went for a special blood test to see if I have an autoimmune disease but I do not. The only "treatment" I am taking is baby aspirin for good and using lovenox while I'm pregnant.

Re: Positive ANA
I have positive ANA, but have been tested many times for APA and lupus antibodies which I do not have. When you go to a rheumatologist or research autoimmune disorders, you ill find that many of them overlap. I have been taking baby asprin for a long time and just started lovenox. I have also been going to acupuncture for about 10 months and have foundthat it has helped tremendously with circulation.

Re: Positive ANA
Last year I kept getting blood spot rashes on my arms and they did a blood panal. They told me that I tested positive for lupus antibodies. I never thought about it again Now, 2 miscarriages later I realized there is a connection and emailed my doctor in a panic. I am not sure exactly which anitbodies I tested positive for but I know they were related to lupus

Re: Positive ANA
Since I have another autoimmune disease that overlaps with Lupus but is not Lupus, I am constantly tested for the anti-coagulant antibody - which is also a blood clotting disorder. Prior to TTC I took a baby asprin just to improve circulation. If I were you I was see a rheumotologist or speak to your RE about it. Good Luck!!!

Re: Positive ANA
I did, but did not test positive for rheumatoid factor. My NA was 1:320 which my immune Dr said was indicative of just impacting pregnancy, not an autoimmune disorder

Re: Positive ANA
i am not sure about ANA, but i do test positive for RA. I have no symptoms, but I do have issues with elevated NK cells, B cells. so now dr B put me on prednisone . on a regular basis i am on ba and lovenox. But i thought BA is for thrombo issues, not immune?

Re: Positive ANA
My immune issues affect circulation, which may impact clotting. I have been taking BA to improve circulation. I do not have RA or Lupus.
