Portable DVD player - First Plane Ride

We're taking DD on her first plane ride in a few weeks. She likes playing on the ipad and watching videos on youtube. I figured as long as the plane has WIFI (we're flying delta and i did the delta comfort for the extra room which comes with wifi -- i think)... I should be ok. I have a small ipad so if I put a movie on there I'll be out of memory.

I'm debating on getting a portable dvd player where I can put some videos on there. Does anyone have any recommendations for which one? I don't want to spend alot.

I would not rely on the plane's wifi for streaming services - can be unreliable. Some of them don't allow/support Netflix, YouTube.

If you have a laptop with DVD drive I would use that or I would use up the memory for a couple of shows or a movie.

Check with your local library. I know mine has portable DVD players you can borrow.

i definitely agree about not relying on the wifi on the planes
We picked up a super cheap dvd player at walmart...its small but works well
The brand is sylvania and I believe it was $38

I take out DVDs from the library every time we travel

Thanks I looked into the sylvania brand and on amazon the new models had mixed review.
