Popular vote
As of right now, on several sites, Clinton has the majority of the Popular vote.
It's a non-issue, as far as the election is concerned because Trump has a huge lead in the Electoral College, but it means that he doesn't have a plurality of support, and it once again brings up the problem with the Electoral College and the Popular Vote.
The People have chosen Clinton, but our Republic has chosen Trump.

Every 4 years i try to understand this. WHO exactly are the electoral college? Are they people ? Who/when do they get voted in?

The electoral college yes are people. They are those very active in the political party, often times locals that rally and show heavy support and even donations to that party, I am not sure if they are elected though? I believe they are I'm just not sure the process. Interestingly, the guy we bought our house from said he was part of the electoral college- I know he was EXTREMELY active in his political party because I got hundreds of mailings in his name, letters and about 11 different people knocking on my door looking for him. I was told by 1 guy he was extremely active politically in the community, though I don't believe he ever held a position?
That's as much as I know, however, I think voting should be the citizens vote only. While the electoral college is supposed to vote with the popular vote, there have been times they don't. I have read somewhere there are significant reprocussions for it but how I'm not sure since I would assume their vote is anonymous?
