poop disasters!!!
I have one like every single day- it goes all down his leg up his back all over his clothes I have to bathe him because he is literally covered from head to toe with poop and the smell is omg awful. Its gets all over the changing table too because he grabs himself when Im changing him. He is eating solids 3x a day and formula ( alimentum 24 oz a day) I have tried every diaper and every size under the sun nothing works. Does anyone go thru this?

my dd is on alimentum and solids an this has never happened...maybe hes havin a reaction to something your feeding him, or a virus?? how long has this been happening?

I did when marissa was an infant I found that huggies supreme was the best that kept it in do to the elastic around the legs. It still went up her back though and the easiest thing to do was jsut throw her in the bath. When this would happen I would give her more bananas to bined her a little so it wouldn't be so bad then when it was under control I would give her other fruits again
ETA if its been going on for a while I would talk to your ped.

Have you tried a new food like dairy (yogurt lately)? only saying that since I had issues with dairy with my son (he was an alimentum baby and eventually found out lactose intolerant) - not necessarily explosions but way bad smelling. Also when my son started meats - his poops changed to be a lot more in a day (but not explosions).
what about teeth? my son has major poop issues/explosioins before a tooth poops.

I would pull the tabs on the diapers a lot tighter. Is it possible that the diaper size is too big?
