Pools to join in Nassau County?
I'd like to find an outdoor pool with kiddie area I can either join or pay per day. I know it will be extra if I'm not a town resident, but my town doesn't have a pool. Please recommend one. Thanks!

I think Wantagh has a pool. It's a county park.

I was a lifeguard at the Mineola Pool for a long time. They have a huge pool with a water slide and a small kiddie pool. Outside the pool area there is a large picnic area with a playground. I'm not sure if you have to be a resident but it's worth taking a look if you're in that area!

There are 2: Wantagh Park and Forest City.

forest city of a town of hempstead pool. along with veteran's memorial, newbridge rd., and ocenaside pools.
wantagh and cantiague are both nassau country pools.
ToH pools you need to be a ToH resident, nassau country, you need a leisure pass. you can get a season pass for ToH pools which is good at most of them. i think the nassau county ones also offer summer memberships, but i don't remember spefics there.

Where are you located? we belong to the Syosset-Woodbury pool, but you need to be a Town of Oyster Bay resident to join.

We frequently go to Hewlett Point Park - it's got a great sprinkler area and a huge regular pool. There's also beach access and a nice concession area.
