Pool party for 6 year olds?
The Hilton Garden Inn offers indoor pool parties. I am thinking of doing this for DD but I'm wondering if 6 is too young for some kids for a pool party? They do have a lifeguard there and parents can go in if they choose to. But I'm just unsure of everyone's swimming ability. What do you think?

Re: Pool party for 6 year olds?
I was going to do an indoor pool party to DD#1's 6th birthday. Some kids were younger. My kid could swim on her own. I found out that others could not. When I started talking about it, the parents(my friends and family) were not happy about the idea of having to go in the pool with their kids in January(and some going in at all) . I ultimately decided to wait and we did it for her 9th birthday instead.

We went to a 5th birthday party at saf t swim and all the kids were fine. They gave floaties to kids who could not swim on their own. They had 2 lifeguards there and no parents went in.

SafeTSwim is more equipped for handling many inexperienced swimmers. I don't think a hotel pool is going to provide lifeguards.
IMO, yes, I think 6 is too young unless most parents agree to go in also.
