Polyurethane
Anyone know if the smell of polyurethane is harmful at all? The office downstairs is polyurethaneing their floors and the smell is NASTY!!! Anyone know if I should be worried (or taking the rest of the day off..... )

Re: Polyurethane
what do you mean polyurethaning their floors? waxing, or doing some major process?
if you smell strong organic solvents... move to somewhere where you DON'T smell it. Solvents can be bad for your brain, not to mention your bean's brain......
that is a reasonable accommodation any employer should be able to make.

Re: Polyurethane
I can't believe you posted this! The apt. downstairs from me is also polyurethane-ing their floors and the other night it was so unbearable. I couldn't sleep, I was so worried about the baby. I hope there was no damage done.
