Polyps?
Asking for a friend: Does anyone have any experience with uterine polyps? My friend just had a large one removed and her doc thinks it was keeping her from getting pregnant. Are there any success stories out there on women that got pg afterwards? She's afraid she won't be able to have children

How different are polyps and fibroids? I know someone who got pregnant with a fibroid and I know someone else who had 2 fibroids removed and got pregnant shortly after!

Me! I had uterine plops. I had a D & C then got pregnant after a couple cycles of trying. They can definitely interfere with conception because they get in the way. Once they are removed it should be fine.

I had polyps and fibroids. Had them removed and it still took me 2 years to get pg.

This exactly. My dr made me wait two cycles to try and then I was pregnant after three cycles. I had one very large polyp and my dr said it was acting as a natural iud.
The d&c was easy-peasy. I was back at work the next day.

No idea what the difference is. Googling it now lol. I actually have a few small fibroids, but they didn't interfere with anything.
