poly-vi-sol is soooo nasty, what does your dc think>
ds still HATES the taste and who can blame him, it really is rancid! how do you give it to your dc? do they still dislike the taste or are they used to it? why in the world do they not make a better tasting one?!?!

He hates it. I've tried mixing in a bottle of breastmilk, but then I just waste a bottle. I asked if there was something better for his age and the dr said no.

Both of my kids are so odd, they actually didn't mind it at all! I've never tasted it, but by the smell you'd think it tastes awful!

ds takes zantac. which is also soooo harsh but he got used to that and laps it up now. but he still chokes on the vitamins. i recently had the pharmasist put in the same cherry flavoring that she puts in to his zantac and it helps...a bit.

Can you try putting it with one of his fruits or veggies?
The last two days I gave it to him right in his mouth with the dropper. He didn't look like he loved it - but dealt with it.

My kids loved it, they would suck the dropper dry! my son took it in liquid form until he was 3, then we switched to chewables.

I shoot it right into my kids mouth- and I know this is mean, but I hold her nose so she has to open her mouth- it's how I give her all her medicine- and by holding her nose, she doesn't taste it as much.
