Poll: Kitchen Cabinets
How much did you spend for your cabinets - minus labor - just the cabinets?
What did you get? Ikea, Home Depot (Kraftmaid, Thomasville), etc...

We just ordered Kraftsmaid from Consumer Kitchens - there was a 10% off sale (Labor Day) and the total came to about $8K.

We have a small kitchen in our apartment and went to this small discount place on Sunrise Highway in West Babylon called Weismans. They had really nice cabinets.

We spent 4K on ours, Crowne cabinets from Midway in Ozone Park.
Great prices and service. We got a lot of cabinets and they are solid wood and beautiful!!!!

We Spent about $11k on Kraftmaid from Consumers. We got cherry cabinets and crown molding to match.
We got 6 upper cabinets (ceiling height), 1 pantry cabinet, 1 sink base, 2 lower pots and pan drawers, 1 corner lazy susan and 2 regular lower cabinets. I thought for all that it was pretty reasonable.

We're the poster family for Ikea. We've gutted two homes now, and for both kitchens we used Ikea. First kitchen cost about $2,500. Second kitchen, our current home, cost about $5,000. Installed it ourselves to save money (which was fairly easy, believe it or not), and it's simply gorgeous. We get so many compliments on it, and when we put our last house on the market, we received 3 offers on the very first day 
We priced the same style and material cabinets at Lowes and Home Depot - for the exact same material it would have cost $10,000.

Mine are custom, all wood so they are on the higher end. I didn't pay retail as my FIL is an exclusive seller of a certain brand not on the poll. I also have more cabinets than the average kitchen.
ETA: I don't have a break down for labor, room by room, as the contractor gutted and redid my entire house at once.
