Polar Bear in Plunge in LB on Sunday
Has anyone done this in the past?
Any tips for a first timer?

Re: Polar Bear in Plunge in LB on Sunday
I haven't done it - but I go almost every year to watch my 2 guy friends do it.
People are CRAZY... it's crowded and bring something warm to drink and wear afterwards.
Rob is doing it for the first time this year too!

Re: Polar Bear in Plunge in LB on Sunday
Bring shoes that are easy to slide on after (nothing with laces...your hands will be numb!) and loose clothing.
My friend came with me last year and she brought a quilt with her. I ended up being really glad that she did. That kept me nice and warm on my way to the locker room to change!
Since it's your first time, try to stay back in the back of the crowd when it's time to go in. If you're in the first rush, you may get stuck in the water for longer than you want!
Also, don't forget to bring your camera! I'm doing to plunge at Bar Beach in March and I can't wait! It's such an exhilarating experience
