Dress Barn has a good selection of reasonably priced plus size dresses. I always thought the selection would be kind of old lady looking but I went there to get an outfit for DS christening and ended up getting 2 dresses that I really loved.

My old standby Macys.
If you are looking for something a little fancier - I got 2 PS things in Estelles back in May. One was a gown for my sisters wedding, the other was wide flowy pants with a fancy jacket for my bosses wedding.
