Plug Adapter - Carib
Please remind me - do you need a plug adaptor for the Caribbean?
We are going to Punta Cana.

Re: Plug Adapter - Carib
It depends on where you are going. Most likely not.
But when we stayed on the French side of St. Martin, we did. Everything was very European there.

Re: Plug Adapter - Carib
No. We've been to several islands and never needed an adapter.
ETS: Check your resort's website. It will usually say.

It depends on the resort, too. At sandals all of the lamps, tv etc had the local plugs, but they had a few American style outlets

Re: Plug Adapter - Carib
The only time I ever needed an adapter was when I stayed in St Lucia are but the hotel was able to provide one for me
ETA I've never been to Punta Cana only Puerta Plata and I don't remember needing an adapter. I probably just let my hair dry on its own never really needed to plug anything in.
