Pls help me word this email
DH is applying for a new job, and got a positive response from one company, asking if he's available in August to come out to Colorado to meet with the head honchos. However, they asked only about his availability and did not specify whether or not they'd pick up the tab on this trip, which IMO, they should.
How do you word an email to confirm whether or not they're paying? TIA!

I would have him confirm his availability and say nothing further. IF they are willing to pay, I would imagine they would offer. If not, he will have to decide if the job is worth it and pay himself.

Agreed.
I think it's only 50/50 that they will pay anyway.
(edited to clarify that I meant the chances of them footing the bill are probably only 50/50 anyway...)

I agree.
I also think whether they pay or not is very indicative of future treatment.
