Plow truck rammed into my car. What do I do?
I am so pis sed! I was up in my apartment when I looked out the window and it apperaed that my side mirror was knocked off. I went downstairs and sure enough it was. The driver side mirror was ripped off, head light was also knocked out and the side of my car was dented and scratched. I called to file a police report. They told me a police report was already filed. It was a plow truck that rammed into my car. I was told I could pick up the police report today. Once I pick up the report what do I do? Does the city pay for the damage? Do I contact my insurance?

First, I am so sorry! 
I would contact the name of the company on the police report, also if have a super/maintenance company for your apartment building or complex and then the insurance company.

Thanks for responding. What do you mean contact the super/maintenance company? Why would they have anything to do with it? Just wondering. I live in a house thats shared with one other person.

Do not call your insurance company or your rates will go up. Contact the Plow's insurance comp.

I agree with this....call their insurance company first. your insurance company should not be involved in this!

i know three contractors who say they will not plow for brookhaven because they have not been paid for the plow work for last two years, and will not plow till they are paid, they also said they know dozens of other guys that will not plow, ever wonder why the store parking lots are down to the blacktop but not the streets??
