Please tell me what convertible car seat you are getting
I registered for the newest Britax, but it is really expensive and all of my BTDT friends said that there are just as good seats that are not as expensive. I actually feel bad having such an expensive car seat on my registry and would much rather put one that is a lil cheaper but of course I need to make sure it is a good, safe seat.

I got the Britax myself, it was  and my Mom got it for us.
You can get an amazing deal on one from the old line though if you still wanted that brand.

i put the Britax on my registery and I dont feel bad but at the same time I dont really expect anyone top buy it for me. what you can do is maybe put a cheaper one on there and if someone buys the cheaper one for you; you can always just return it and put the money towards the more expenisve one and pay the difference. This is what I did with my strollers.

i put the britax car seat on my registry just for sh!ts & giggles... if no one got it for me, i was going to just buy a different one when the time came b/c they really are pretty
low & behold, someone got it for us! lol

I put the Britax on my registry too. It was highly recommended by friends and at BBB. If someone gets it for me then great, otherwise we will jsut buy it ourselves. I figured maybe a few people will chip in to get it.

I registered for the new britax marathon (followed the baby bargains book's advice lol) We'll see what happens if I don't get it. I'll decide then if it's worth buying it myself...

I have the Evenflo Truimph with my son and we really like it. Will use it for the new baby once he/she is old enough. By that time we should be able to move DS to a booster

I registered for a Britax seat also. It was highly recommended from several BTDT moms, and was given top safety ratings. That's more important to me than a price IMO. (And if you're a good online shopper, there are lots of stores outside BRU and BBB that sell the same items for less and/or have coupons and discounts). If no one purchases it for me, then DH and I will buy it ourselves.
