Please Talk to me About BCP and Bleeding
I was put on BCP for a full month but the DR told me to stop them right before my last two inactive pills and start a new pack of pills and take several more days of the active one which then led into my date of starting Estrace. I got my period right at the end of my inactive pills as I should and then it stopped for a couple days as I had just started my Estrace but now I am having bleeding again, not too heavy, more dark brown but bleeding. I read breakthrough bleeding is common in the first few months of BCP but should I be worried since I stopped them now and that I'm bleeding during my Estrace?
Maybe because they had me start up another pack of pills and I took them for like 4 days then stopped cold turkey is making this happen?

Sounds totally normal to me. If you're worried, you can always ask your RE just for peace of mind. But again, this sounds perfectly ok.

Um, my answer isn't good enough? It's normal. At this point it's been 2 days. If you are that worried, then call your RE.

Who said that your answer wasn't good enough? 
Just looking for other opinions as well or anyone else that experienced it.

I just saw this now. Seems like we are having the same issue. I guess we are okay. I was only on BC for 5 days so its odd to be getting my period 6 days after my period ended. Oh well. How long are you going to be on Estrace for?

Why only 5 days? From what I'm reading bleeding is normal. I am on Estrace for 3 weeks.

I've been on bcp for 3 weeks (I have one more week!) and I'm spotting too. My nurse said its fine as long as it isn't full flow.

I had my failed IUI and AF came but I couldn't start an IVF cycle right away bc I need to be in his IVF group. So he said I would only be on BC for a short time to align to the group. Less waiting is good to me. Oh okay 3 weeks isn't bad. I start stimming maybe tomorrow.....ahhh.
