Please share!! What is your 10 month old eating?
My DD is SOOO picky lately. If it was up to her, she would eat BabyBel cheese and Cheerios all day. She is not liking the texture of the Stage 3 foods really and doesn't love anything I puree either. I could probably make it more soupy but I am trying to get her used to more textured food. Ugh. Anyway, any suggestions?

Re: Please share!! What is your 10 month old eating?
DH is 10 months old and is mainly on table foods except. I am trying to finish up the jars of pureed fruits/vegetables that we have. I never gave him Stage 3 foods.
I find that he likes when he can feed himself. Obviously he can't feed himself all of these things, but here are some examples of what he eats: Waffles, pancake, french toast Scrambled eggs (just got the ok to give him eggs) Grilled cheese Ravioli Any pasta - sometimes I will make it with peas and grated parm, other times I give it to him with a little red sauce Shephards pie Hummus on bread Meatballs Mac and cheese with ground beef Chicken noodle soup Cheese and bread Pizza Ground or shredded meat Yogurt Dr. Praeger's spinach potato pancakes
I really just try to give him whatever we are eating.

Re: Please share!! What is your 10 month old eating?
we've been having these same issues since 8 months
I cut up bite size chunks of avocado, banana, mango, cheese, grapes and beans, (removing the skins) and give it to him on a tray. While he's picking at those things, I'll try to sneak in some puree with meats or veggies, just because the time from food on tray to food in mouth is slow and then the chewing is very methodical and slow.
I also give shredded chicken and meats, slow cooker does a great job at making them tender enough for finger food. Carrots, peas, green beans, other veggies also cooked in slow cooker/crock pot come out very tender. just cut them bite size before cooking.
I offer puffs as a dessert. I also use it to gague how well he's eaten. If he eats a ton of them, he must have still be hungry and I didn't give enough, if he takes 1 or 2 and then whines to get out he's full.

ugh, not that much because he loves to feed himself but I am so scared he'll choke. DS is still taking 4 bottles a day.
Do you ladies feed your DC these table foods or let them feed themselves?

He's had : ground beef meaballs chicken turkey pasta with tomato sauce pancakes waffles french toast cheese yogurt scrambled egg cut up fruits & veggies

Re: Please share!! What is your 10 month old eating?
Wow! That is great that your little ones are eating all table food. I think I may have to start doing this too. She loves picking off the tray so I guess it's time. For some reason, I had myself convinced it was too early and the funny thing is I pureed Shepherds Pie for her yesterday and she probably would have just eaten it off the tray if I hadn't.
Now, do you heat everything you give to them??
As far as bottles, DD is almost down to 4 a day (24 oz). She was doing 5 (30 oz) but I read that that might be too much so I'm trying to cut one out.

Re: Please share!! What is your 10 month old eating?
DS is 9 months and almost entirely on table food. He loves cut up chicken or turkey, grilled cheese, omelets (good way to sneak in veggies), waffles/pancakes/frech toast, cheese, pasta, toast, yogurt, veggies, etc...
ETA- he drinks about 12-20oz a day. I aim for about 16-18oz.

Re: Please share!! What is your 10 month old eating?
he's at about 20-22 oz. a day (bottle/bf)
and we are still feeding him jarred food from time to time, and oatmeal or rice cereal every day.
but as far as finger foods its: mango banana (sometimes covered in crushed cheerios) waffles yogurt - he loves, but obviously we need to spoon feed him this still. cheddar cheese toast pancake
steamed broccoli carrots squash zucchini
baked potato sweet potato butternut & acorn squash chicken turkey
