Re: Please recomment your infant carseat
I think there are two versions of the snugride now. I went with the lower weight limit because I felt that I was not going to be lifting a 30 lb baby (in reality my 3 year old DD weighs 30 lbs) with a 7 lb car seat in and out of the car seat. By the time my kids would weigh 30 lbs they would have well exceeded the height limit. I think my son hit the height limit of the infant seat at 5 months and my DD hit the height limit at 7 months.
I too used the greco snugride and was very pleased with the car seat, but I went with the one that had the lower weight limit.

We have the chicco keyfit magic and it's great. There are some slight differences from the regular keyfit that I love. It has breathable fabric (actually reversible so it has a warmer side for winter), comes with a boot for winter, and a zip open mesh panel on the canopy so it breathes in summer. DD is was never sweaty in the summer and now she's toasty in the winter and doesn't need a bundle me.

We have the chico keyfit 30 which I really liked. Easy to use and easy to take apart to clean since I had a reflux baby who spit up pretty bad in his carseat (requiring a machine wash). It was lighter to carry (not by a significant amount) then the Graco. Many of my friends have the Graco Snugride and love it too. I think either way you can't go wrong.
