We have whirlpool ones and while I like them they the washer gets "smelly" sometimes.

DH got me an LG Steam Washer and Steam Dryer for Mother's Day, both front loading, and I LOVE them!!!

Same here, love them!
Us too! We love them and the price was great.
If I could have afforded it I would have looked into the LG models -- my mom has the front loader with steam and all that jazz - real nice.

We have a Kenmore set that are a few years old and we really like them. Ours are the HE4T series, but I'm sure they have fancier ones now.

Thanks everyone!!! I was secretly hoping you'd all say the same thing to make my decision easier LOL!
What's the difference between the ones with steam and the ones without (I saw that there were two options when I was looking at models online)?
As for the smell - a builder we met with mentioned something about water needing to remain in the line so that there wouldn't be a smell (if the washer/dryer was not in a basement).

i have LG and LOVE them
i made sure to find one that has a drain at the frt of the washer by the btm of the door.
i have not had a problem with smell at all and i have had them since nov. i believe
