Please recommend your favorite babyproofing products!

I think it's time to start babyproofing...

DS isn't crawling yet (I'm wondering if he even will since he's not a fan of being on his belly), but he's grabbing everything he can get his hands on, so I'd like to start babyproofing the house.

Can you recommend any of your favorite and most effective products for the zillions of ways to babyproof the house?

Also, does anyone have a square, glass dining room AND/OR coffee table? How did you baby proof yours? I'd love an effective product that looks relatively nice.

What cabinet locks do you recommend? Some have TERRIBLE reviews!

What about plug protectors?

Toilet bowl locks?

OH - and safety gates for the stairs. I'd like one that is SOLID, but leaves a wide opening so we don't have to turn sideways to get through them. I know I have some weight to lose, but c'mon! Some of these gates are SO narrow!!!

Thanks for all your help and suggestions!

The only thing I really "babyproofed" besides the outlets was DS's swing - I used a pool noodle cut to size.

I got a gate for both the top and bottom of the stairs. I switched the outlet covers to the kind that turn. For less accessible outlets (behind furniture) I got the ones that just plug the outlet. For heavy furniture I got those things that attach to the wall and anchor them to the wall.
