We need to get DD out of her infant car seat soon, at 11 months she is getting too long for it. We take a lot of long car trips with her to visit our family upstate so I want something that is going to be comfortable for her. I want to make sure it is able to recline a little as well.

We have the Britax marathon 70 in the cowmooflage print. I love it! It's pricey but worth it. I ordered mine on albeebaby.com with a 20% off promo code.

Re: Please recommend your convertible carset
I love the even evenflo symphony 65. It can be rear facing up to 40 pounds then forward facing with harnesses up to 65 pounds then a belt positioning booster up to 100 pounds. The head rest is adjustable so there's little worry about growing out height wise. It is easy to install and super easy to adjust because there is no rethreading to adjust the harnesses. There is one recline option for rear facing and two for forward facing. It has an expiration of 8 years after manufacture so theoretically it is the only car seat you'll need.
