please recommend your bottles for gassy babies Added a question
my dd is extremely gassy and were using mylocon every 6 hours. and we're currently using the playtex ventiaire bottles. they seem to be working ok, but i've noticed her starting to spit up alot.. we tried the playtex drop ins and those were a pure disaster. i had a free sample of born free tried that and it caused projectile vomiting... so i was wondering if you could recommend the bottles you use! Thanks so much!
ETA: I want to try the dr. browns, im currently using ventaire WIDE, does that mean i should stick with wide and get dr. browns wide or can i try the standard?

Are you sure it's the bottles and not the formula??? A bottle wouldn't cause projectile vomiting. I would speak to the ped.

I was thinking the same thing. We changed bottles and did a million other things, but the one thing that helped the most was getting him on the right formula (Good Start RTF).
We used the Dr. Browns for awhile but switched back to the drop-ins with no problems.

emma does better with the NON wide ventaire - also the nipples are a different shape. the wide mimics your breast - so if you were breastfeeding - it'd be a nice changeover...but if you never were - TRY the regular bottle.
i do agree with the girls though - the bottle won't cause projectile vomiting - that's a formula or tummy issue...
