Please recommend contractors and sub-contractors...

We had a flood in our house recently and have been living with the living and dining areas sealed off (restoration/demo work was done).

We need to have those areas re-done (sheet rocked, wood flooring installed, paint)

While we do this we need our kitchen gutted and re-modeled.

We want to take down walls and possibly raise ceilings.

We have not found a gc yet, so we are open to just hiring subs....for everything from the rest of the demo, to electric, plumbing, tile, sheetrocking, tape/spackle, paint. etc....even possibly a kitchen designer

If you could fm me about any contractors, subs or designers that you've used and were happy with, please let me know.

Where do you live? My cousin does contract work, he's in Suffolk.
