Please recommend a reliable moving company....

Looking for something that wont break the bank:)

Moving from Queens (Jamaica Estates) to Nassau- not a great distance between the two (only 12 miles).

College Hunks Moving

I have moved three times in the last five years and the first time I used Men on the Move who were OK -- the guys that came made me a little nervous. They were very SKETCHY. But, the price was right at the time and all in all they did an OK job - there was one piece of furniture that they did not put back together correctly but overall, it was alright.

Then, the second time I called MOTM again and their prices had went up a lot so I went with another company -- I don't even recall the name now, it was a local company and these guys were even more shady than the first guys and they damaged two pieces of furniture -- that was awful.

So, for the third time I was like let me look online and the College Hunks Hauling Junk company had started the moving part. I had seen the CEO on Oprah and then on Undercover Boss and the company seemed so great and he seemed so nice. I figured, let me give it a try and hoped it would be OK --- well, it was the best thing ever! The two guys that came, college-age, were sweet, kind, and WORKED LIKE DOGS. They were from the area, did NOT make me nervous AT ALL. The price was excellent. They followed up with me before, during and after the move -- meaning, the company customer service, to see how everything was. They moved everything so carefully, they put everything back together so well and were SO BEYOND PLEASANT the entire time.

I will never use another company again.

I very highly recommend them.
