Please rec'd- summer "school" work
Im looking to continue having DS (5yrs old) do his 15 min reading and homework every night (Mon-Thurs) over the summer...
I want to keep him busy, challenged, in routine and most importantly ready for 1st grade in the fall...
He was reading at a level F last "testing" period (although Im thinking by the end of the year comes that may change to a G) and we have most of the BOB series books, and I am looking for something a bit more challenging....
Please rec'd some lesson planning/curriculum books that will keep him at a first grade + level...

I bought a workbook from this series, and DS really likes it. It's called Summer Bridge Activities.
They didn't have one for N into Pre-K, so I just bought Pre-K into K, and DS is doing fine with it.
I think they have ones for specific subjects (like reading).

1st grade teacher here -
Write with him, too - stories, letters to family, lists...
Spelling & punctuation doesn't have to be perfect - just make it fun.
