That is what we did and it has worked out great. They have it on sale for $39 at amazon.com right now.
We're doing that. We have it in the bedroom and she loves to sleep in it (the angle is so good for her, even the doctor said so) and we bring it into the living room during the day (or in the middle of the night if she's being fussy and DH has to go to work the next day). She likes sleeping in her napper much more than in the pack & play for now. And I'm more comfortable with her up at an angle since she does spit up from time to time and I just feel safer like she won't choke this way.

This probably won't be helpful for too many but the monitor. I am so happy to be able to have 2 video cameras (one for each  ) in the same room while only having 1 handheld.
