please I need help from those who are tech savy
I am a hysterical mess right now. I have lost every picture and video of my 3.5 month old son since the day he was born. I have a Samsung S4 and for whatever reason ... prob my own stupid fault, it has not backed up 1 photo or video since the day he was born. I exported all my photos a few days ago to a usb. I double checked it and all the pics were there. The videos wouldnt export for some reason...I was doing it on a mac. Well today I got hit with a double whammy not only did my phone erase all existing photos and videos but when I went to check the usb it was empty.
I am so sick to my stomach the first months of my childs life are completely gone. I dont know what to do please someone help me. I cant believe that this is happening right now.

You want to run a data recovery software on your USB drive and I would try it on the external memory of the phone. Don't use either of them to save stuff. Data may still exist in memory until something new goes over to. So there is hope. If you did a cut and paste it should be on your USB. Same thing, it should be on computer if it was a cut paste action.
