please help....job related
Here is a quick version of my current situation:
I work nights at CVS in the cosmetic department while I am looking for a perm teaching position. I was recently asked to change locations and accept a small promotion. I was willing to do so (even though I did NOT want to be mgt.) but now it has fallen through.
At the store I am in right now, my immeadiate supervisor is going to make my life hell. She was happy I was leaving. (don't know why, I do a good job.)
So basically, I need to find a new job and fast.
If anybody knows of any night positions or days for the summer ( I sub right now ) I'd really appreciate it.
Thanks

My Mom works nights at Barnes & Noble. You could try them or Borders.
You could also just try Walgreens or Eccard & Have the same hours.
Not sure if your interested but you can contact an agency. They usually have openings for night positions.
Good Luck!
Oh, Home Depot too.

If you were working in cosmetics I would consider Ulta or Sephora, or maybe in cosmetics at one of the department stores.

Thanks for the suggestions.
I worked at Ulta at one point, not the best company to work for, so I do not want to go back.
I will check out Sephora and some of the other suggestions.
I just wish I had a position teaching :(
Hopefully next year I will not have this issue.

Also you might want to check out supermarkets. Some of them have unions for the cashiers and they do pretty well for a night/weekend type of job. Can you just transfer to a different CVS?
