Please help, my DS can't keep his hands out of his pants

I know it's normal for toddlers to touch themselves, but my DS who will be 3 next month won't keep his hand out of his pants. I have been putting him in onesie's for the past couple of weeks to try to get him to stop. It's the only time, he can't reach it, but sometimes, DH puts a regular shirt on him or pj's and his hands are like magnets. Will he outgrow this? When? How can I get him to stop.

We had this problem at around the same age. It did get better, but took a while. I feel your pain.
