Please help me - clueless first time mom about to register and no idea where to begin!
I am totally clueless about this whole process! So please tell me how to start. I have read on here about a book that is helpful in registering? What is the name of it and where can I get it? Any other tips would be GREATLY appreciated!

BRU has a "check list". I did not register for all the items on it. That was way to much for me and my needs.
Then I research products online (reviews, etc..)

I have researched products online during the whole pregnancy. I go on a lot of message boards and see what other Moms are raving about. I have also used the Baby Bargains book. I am constantly updating my registry after I've read reviews of products...good luck, it's a never ending research project!

I went in blind. When we got to BRU, they gave us a whole folder, they had a checklist of things to get and when you where done, or thought you were done, they print up the registry and a sheet of things you forgot, i thought it was great

I used Baby Bargains, the BRU checklist and DH spent so much time on line researching I thought he was researching the cure for AIDS 
It is EXTREMELY overwhelming and as stated above never ending......
Best advice I can give is to do it in pieces..... we started with the big stuff... then went to bedding....then bath... then safety, etc...
