PLEASE HELP!!!!! DO you eventually dry up?
I have stopped BF for several reasons but now I am in soooo much pain
Do you eventually dry up? My Mom said that back in her day they gave you a pill. Do they still do this?

I've heard cold cabbage leaves in your bra do wonders for that. I don't know why or how it works, but everyone I know who's tried it says it works.

No joke, and I dont know if this is true for other mom's who BF, but I BF Julia for 11 months, and I was sooo nervous to stop cause I though I would be in soooo much pain but I dried up in 4 days. I couldn't believe it.
ETA: I did have one spot that was stuborn and I had to put a cold compress on it, and the next day it was done.

They don't give that pill anymore.
Freeze the cabbage leaves and put them in your bra, it does help.

Yes, it's a painful thing...Ice those bad boys and keep em wrapped in a tight sports bra. I bought pads to put in my sports bra to absorb the leaking.

I wore my bra, sports bra, and a ripped sheet tied around my breasts for 1 week. Even wore it in the shower and then changed into a new one after. Milk never even came in. It didnt stand a chance!  to you, i know it is very painful. My MIL warned me that is why I did what i did, the minute he was born. Hang in there!!

not to scare you but had to post. i stopped bf my son and it took me until i concieved my 2nd to stop leaking (2 years later).  i went to the doc to have all these tests done and nothing was wrong with me. Wasn't horrible but just bothersome!!

You shouldn't quit cold turkey. You need to cut down slowly by pumping.

When I stopped I slowly stopped pumping so I would pump once less a day but I only pumped three times a day so I didnt have long to go. My doctor told me wear a tight bra and to put cold compresses.
