please help, DD keeps leaking through overnight
During the day she wears size 4. A couple of weeks ago she started leaking through her huggie size 4 so we moved her to size 5. Well that worked for a little while so we then moved her to size 6 . She is now also going through those. Sometimes its through the sides of the legs, sometimes its up her back. Please help, what do I do now?

Have you tried double diapering her?
Do you change her right before she goes to bed? (with DS we would get him ready for bed a good 45 minutes before actual bed time when he was in diapers)

DOuble diaper or the overnight diapers - those worked for DS.

We changer her right before she goes down. I haven't tried double diapering her, but I guess I'll have to.

Re: please help, DD keeps leaking through overnight
why not try overnights first before double diapering? the overnights are made to hold more.

I agree - I only use overnights for, well, overnights! I use the regular kind during the day. We never have leaks and it's FULL by the am.

why did you move up 2 sizes?
I would go back to size 5.
Sometimes my son leaked through them. He's got small legs. So often i had to take the tabs and put them in a V, which made them tighter around the legs. If you just put the tabs parallel to each other, he leaked.

Re: please help, DD keeps leaking through overnight
Ok, so...you may think I'm loony, but stick with me for a second...found this out because I was in a major pinch...
A few weeks ago, I went to put my DD's pjs on and I found out we were out of overnight diapers I knew for SURE that if I put her in a regular diaper, she'd wake up soaked in the middle of the night. BUT, she was way overtired and I didn't have time to run to the store for more...
SO...
I put her in a regular Luvs diaper, and stuck a super maxi pad to the inside of it! I was SOOOO lucky because I normally don't have maxis, but I had a few left over from my C/S 2 months prior.
It WORKED!!!!!!
So, I say, go buy some cheap maxis at the dollar store or whatever, and stick them inside. Worth a try, right?

How old is she? We had a similar situation at our house when DS was about 18 months. We had to cut out DS's night-time milk. We limit his liquid intake in the evening and no milk before bed.

I went up to a size 6 because she was leaking through the size 5 overnights also. I'll try the V thing tonight back in a size 5 and see if that works.

DD is 18 months. She eats dinner at 6 and has water with dinner and when shes finished eating she gets about 4/5oz of milk. She goes to be around 7:15 and we change her right before we put her down. She up in the morning around 5:30 sometimes 6.
