please help
Hi! I posted yesterday and really didnt get any responses. I'm newly pregnant- 5 weeks and am experiencing pulling pains in my lower back into my legs. Its really uncomfortable and I'm just wondering if anyone else has experienced this. Im really scared and the nurse at my OB said its normal, but I am just in so much discomfort- I would really appreciate any help or advice...Thanks

Re: please help
congratulations!!! Sounds like the beginning of sciatica to me. Try stretching, and icing the area to make it better. The looser you keep those muscles before it gets worse, the better.

Re: please help
Congratulations!! I had some early low back pain and pulling in one of my legs. The OB told me it may be sciatica. Luckily, it has since gone away. Stretching helped me alot. Drink lots of water too- it really does help! If the pain is really bad, us preggos can take Tylenol. Hope you feel better soon!!
