Play table or Kitchen?

Which one is better for a 2 year old DD? I really want both, but we are already low on space.

Re: Play table or Kitchen?

If tight on space you will get more use out of the table than the kitchen.

i think it depends on your DD
For my 21mo, i would hands down get her a kitchen. she loves playing with dolls, food, cooking etc. Although not ideal, she can sit and play/color on the floor or in her high chair

This is why I chose the kitchen. She can sit at her booster at the kitchen table to do art or other table top activities, and I know she'll really enjoy playing with the kitchen!

Re: Play table or Kitchen?

My kids have both. But for a table we went with a $20-$30 folding kids table. They usually have them at TRU and such. Bed bath and beyond had them one year too and you can use the 20% coupon

I have had it for 5 years and love it. When I need it for extra space (kiddie table at holiday time) I can move it in, when we have a playdate I can put it in the living room for play time, when I dont need it, it folds up in a closet and my house has less clutter! And its relatively inexpensive so when my kids ripped the cover, we just bought a new one (our old one came with dry erase markers and hte kids loved drawing on it)
Mickey Table -- we have one like this but different characters

Play table or Kitchen?

Definitely the kitchen...kids can sit at the regular table for coloring/crafts/etc.
