Play groups school- setauket

Has anyone sent their child to play groups school in Setauket? My twins are 1 and they have a Mommy and me transition program starting at 15 months, which is perfect since their next cycle starts in April when they are 15 months. Registration is opening in a few weeks and I think I want to send them to eventually be able to transition into a 2s program. My one child has a lot of social anxiety, to the point he gets himself sick if he’s around other children or adults besides his brother and my husband and I, and he’s ok with my mom. This is the only school I found with something like this. Does anyone have any feedback?

My DD went to PlayGroups for the 4-year-old program, LOVED it!! She was not social at all (she really only came out of her shell in kindergarten), but she always went in the classroom happily and came out with a smile on her face. Her particular teacher has since retired, but I hear the new one is great also. They have a really nice outdoor area, and the kids spend lots of time outdoors, which I loved. Even when there was a ton of snow on the ground, I sent her with her snowsuit and boots, the teachers got them all bundled up, and they played outside. I'm not too familiar with their Mommy & Me program, but my only suggestion is to register as soon as you can. It's a popular school and it fills up fast.

Thank you so much for the feedback. I’m going for a tour Thursday and once registration opens in March, will be signing them up so long as I don’t have any concerns from the tour! It’s nice to hear about the outdoor play, I read a lot about the outdoor space!
